Wharf Building!

Some of you may have heard that Galliott Studios lost part of our wharf in the big spring storm. So Last Saturday we got together some able bodied friends and started building a new block for the wharf.

In the first picture you see us stripping bark off the logs, and wedging sections of the wood so they would together. On low tide we then brought the logs down to the beach, nailed them together and filled the block in with rocks...

Thanks to all our wonderful friends for helping out! As well as all the encouragement from our friends away! Can’t wait to have a spiffy new wharf in a few weeks!
