Winding Down in 2017

Can you believe summer is nearly over? Seems like just yesterday we were opening our doors every morning to the clear days of early June. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end, so we must wait through the winter for the next fun-filled, extremely busy summer season. However, the shop isn't closing up just yet (good news for all you who try and evade the most hectic portion of the year!)

Expect to see the "open" sign propped up in the window at least until the end of September. There is little difference in our hours of operation as well, exempting a few key details. First, after Labour Day weekend, we will no longer open up on Monday. Just to give the girls a bit more of a break after all the hustle and bustle of the summer, you know? Second, we will be closing earlier than usual; lately, it's been around 6:00 - instead of 7:00 - when the door gets locked and the lights shut off. This schedule will persist until we close down permanently at the end of September.

Just because closing is coming around the corner, doesn't mean you should stop following us on Instagram! Throughout the fall and into the winter, Jen is planning on advertising earrings, jewelry, and (possibly) other homemade products to sell after the Studio has been locked up and winterized. This'll be a good way to grab some of her work after the shop has closed. Maybe some early Christmas shopping, anyone?

That's all for this year from the Galliott Studios blog, folks! Hope every visitor to our beautiful studio and amazing park enjoyed their stay. And, most importantly, if anyone needs the brownie recipe for those oh-so-decadent gluten-free treats, don't hesitate to contact us! Thanks again for an amazing season. :-)

  3. I was mesmerized with your interview on Land and Sea. The landscape for your home and business is breathtaking. I am excited about visiting next summer. Maybe a whale could swim past and make life even more thrilling.
